Moving From Discrimination to Diversity to Equity (2020)

The nation and the world are grappling with recent events exposing systemic racism and police brutality. In the workplace, insidious discrimination also has permeated corporate America. As a result, organizations have started examining where they may be complicit in unwittingly preventing people of color from reaching their full potential.

Join four Chicago DEI leaders who are working to create more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces and communities for a candid conversation about the challenges they face helping leaders and companies at large understand how diversity is strength and how their power can be used to ignite social change.

Sabina Gebczyk is Ingredion’s Senior Manager, Global DEI, who has designed cross-functional diversity and inclusion strategies to help businesses thrive. Xavier Ramey is the CEO of Justice Informed, a social impact consulting firm whose work centers on creating new ways to use inclusive strategies for social change. Wil Lewis, Diversity and Inclusion Executive: Global Head of Employee Networks, Disability and LGBT Strategy at Bank of America, supports the firms continued efforts in belonging and inclusion.
