Messaging the Moment with Jessika Davidson, presented by Engage on August 13, 2020

Arts and cultural practices are among the most impactful ways to effect social change, explore racial representation, reflect the diversity of a community’s identities, and provide an opportunity to engage diverse audiences in authentic and transformative learning experiences. While managing the unexpected during the current health, economic and racial pandemic, how do art organizations do this online, be authentic, and stay true to their mission? In this workshop, Jessika Davidson leads arts leaders in learning how to build a progressive and anti-racist communications strategy that aligns with their mission and build authentic and effective messaging that affirms their commitment to anti-racist work, supports their online programming and stands in solidarity with the community they serve.
